We believe that diversity strengthens innovation, improves decision-making, and is essential to building trustworthy and effective cyber security and artificial intelligence ecosystems.
1. Our Commitment
AICSA is committed to promoting equality of opportunity and eliminating discrimination in all areas of our work, including membership, events, partnerships, and content.

Representation
We recognise the importance of diverse perspectives across gender, ethnicity, age, disability, neurodiversity, and professional background.
4. Legal Framework
AICSA operates in accordance with applicable UK equality legislation, including the Equality Act 2010, which protects individuals from discrimination based on protected characteristics.
5. Neurodiversity and Inclusion
AICSA recognises and values neurodiversity as an important and often underrepresented aspect of diversity within the cyber security and AI sectors.
We are committed to:
- Creating inclusive environments that support different ways of thinking and working
- Promoting awareness and understanding of neurodiversity
- Reducing barriers to participation and engagement
6. Expected Behaviour
All individuals engaging with AICSA are expected to:
- Treat others with respect and professionalism

- Challenge discrimination and inappropriate behaviour where appropriate
7. Prohibited Conduct
AICSA does not tolerate:
- Discrimination on the basis of protected characteristics
- Harassment, bullying, or victimisation
- Offensive, abusive, or exclusionary behaviour
Any such conduct may result in action being taken, including removal from events or termination of membership.
8. Implementation
We will embed equality, diversity, and inclusion into our activities by:
- Promoting diverse representation in events, panels, and content
- Encouraging inclusive participation across our community
- Reviewing our practices to identify and address barriers
9. Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness behaviour that breaches this policy, you are encouraged to report it to hello@aisec.org.uk.
All concerns will be taken seriously and handled appropriately.
10. Monitoring and Review
We are committed to continuous improvement. This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains effective and aligned with best practice.

By engaging with AICSA, you agree to uphold the principles of this policy and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and equitable environment.
